Set-up & Free Trial

How do I sign up for a BizMailsecure or BizCrypt account?
You can sign up from the BizMailsecure Subscription page and BizCrypt Subscription page. Select required number of accounts, choose options, choose your add-ons, enter your personal information, and payment information. Once the credit card is authorized, admin account is created, which you can start using immediately. Details of the account, Quick Start Guide and other details will be emailed to your current email address. In addition you can take assistance from our customer support.

How can I convert my Trial Account into a Regular Account?
Nothing. Your trial account will get converted into regular account after the trial period and your credit card on file will charged.

Can I still use my current email address with BizMailsecure?
Yes, if you have your own domain name suffix for your current email address. Ex. “name@your-domain-name.com”. Our subscription plans allow you to use your private domain on our server through MX change, which is an easy job. Your website remains unaffected, email address remains unchanged, and no domain registration / transfer is required. Your domain email is redirected to BizMailsecure server. You can continue to use your current email address and become Secure as well. BizMailsecure support team can assist you in this process.

If your email address is provided by free services such as Yahoo/ Hotmail/Gmail or email service provided by companies like  AT&T, Verizon, comcast etc, you can use our BizCrypt service to send Secure, secure messages without changing your email address. Recipients of your secure messages can send a secure reply.

Will I lose any emails in my current email account if I switch BizMailsecure?
You will not lose any emails from the Inbox of your current email account. We employ a migration system that manages the process by checking your Inbox at both locations until the cut over is complete and consolidating all emails in the new location. Note that messages from other folders like Sent Items etc can't be migrated.

Do I need to download or install any software to use the BizMailsecure?
Absolutely nothing. No downloads, plug-ins, or installations are necessary to use BizMailsecure. BizMailsecure is as simple and user-friendly as any other email service.

Does BizMailsecure work with my PC/email client program/OS?
BizMailsecure works with almost all the systems:
  • Web Browsers: Internet Explorer 6 and above, Firefox, Apple,  Safari, Google Chrome Netscape Communicator, Mozilla, AOL, Opera, Red Hat, Linux,  Konqeror, Camino.
  • Email Clients: Outlook & Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Thunderbird, Netscape Communicator, Eudora, Apple Mail (MacOS 10.2 or later), Mac-Entourage v.x for MacOS X.
  • Mobile: BizMailsecure also works with iPhone, iPad, Android, Palm and Windows Mobile.
Do you offer free trial?

Sending email through remote servers is blocked by my ISP. What now?
You can still use BizMailsecure. Generally ISPs that block 3rd party SMTP servers block port 25. BizMailsecure being secure, uses port 587 and 465. There should not be any problem at all.

Security & Compliance

How does the security work resulting in Secure compliance?
Security and encryption is enforced without compromise for all the email messages sent from BizMailsecure and BizCrypt. An SSL (or TLS) session is initiated before login or password information is exchanged and well before any data is transmitted. Server certificates we use are 100% secure using RSA-powered TLS (Transport Layer Security). Email sent to other than “Safe Recipients”  i.e. any account outside BizMailsecure service will be force encrypted and secured by SecureDraft to maintain compliance with security regulations.

Whether BizMailsecure / BizCrypt are available throughout the world?
BizMailsecure / BizCrypt are specifically meant for Indian Industry providers. However BizMailsecure is can be accessed from few other countries in addition to United States.

For security reasons BizMailsecure / BizCrypt are not accessible from some geo locations outside the United States. Please contact us for details.

Who is “Safe Recipient”?
- All the email addresses in your domain.
- All the email accounts hosted with BizMailsecure. This will be automatically detected.
- All the email addresses that are certified by the user as “Safe Recipients” and added to “Safe List" in the address book.
All these email addresses are automatically detected by BizMailsecure.

How to determine an outside email address as “Safe Recipient”?
Any Secure email server/service user is a “Safe Recipient”.

Who is “Other Recipient”?
All those whose security credentials are unknown are “Other recipients”. We strongly recommend to send secure and encrypted email messages these recipients to maintain security and meet compliance requirements.

What is “Locking" or "Encryption” of out-bound messages?
When a message is sent to “Other Recipient” it is encrypted with industry-standard AES-256 encryption in CBC mode with MD5 hash. This is the same kind of encryption is used by many Banks and Federal agencies around the world to protect their data.

These “Locked Messages” are not delivered to the Inbox of recipient. Instead they are stored in secure server SecureDraft of BizMailsecure. A notification is sent to the recipient informing a secure, encrypted message has been received.

What is “SecureDraft” and how does it work?
When a locked (encrypted) message is sent, it is stored in our secure server SecureDraft and just a notification is sent to the recipient, containing a secure weblink. By clicking this link and entering password recipient can log into our secure server, decrypt, view the message, and download attachments if any. In addition the recipient can send secure reply.

Is there a way to receive secure and plain messages instead of encrypted ones?
Encrypted messages are sent by BizMailsecure for security and compliance. These messages needs to be decrypted with a password to view them. It is very much possible to send plain messages instead of encrypted messages.

What is your policy about sharing customers email addresses?
We respect your privacy. We never rent, sell or share client details with anyone.

BizMailsecure vs BizCrypt

What is the difference between BizMailsecure and BizCrypt?
BizMailsecure is a Secure email hosting solution where as BizCrypt is Secure email encryption service for your existing email account irrespective of where it is hosted. BizCrypt can be used with any email acccount, email service provider can be anyone including free services like Gmail, Yahoo, MSN etc. BizCrypt is encryption service for your outgoing messages, for security at the recipient's end.

Can I customize BizMailsecure to display my own banner and logo?
Yes, you can customize the look and feel of BizMailsecure to display your logo and banner. 

Do you have a Calendar? What are the features?
BizMailsecure Calendar is a great planning tool. You can set reminder messages for appointments and work deadlines. Since it automatically stores information on BizMailsecure server, you can access your schedule from any computer. You can also share your entire calendar or particular events with other users.

Whether File sharing available with BizMailsecure?
Yes - You can share files with patients, doctors, and your staff any time. Just upload files and give access to anyone by sending the link through email. You can share Patient Instruction Sheets, Patient Education Forms, etc with patients. You can even create web pages without having a website!
Further, you can have the contents of a particular folder on your computer automatically synchronized and available on any computer you use.

Does BizMailsecure support email Legal Archiving?
BizMailsecure provides online email archiving for 7 years or more. All incoming and outgoing emails are stored in a secure remote server which cannot be modified or deleted. Archived messages can be downloaded and restored.

Is there any limit to the size of attachments?
Large attachments up to 50 MB can be sent with each message. There is no size limit on receiving attachments except the quota limit of mailbox.

Is there a way for someone to send a secure message to BizMailsecure user?
Yes. there are two easy ways:
a) Anyone can browse https://EmailYourDoc.com, compose, and send a secure message to BizMailsecure user.
b) If someone has already received a secure message from BizMailsecure user, there is an option to send secure reply from the received message.

How does the spam filter work?
BizMailsecure is having an excellent spam filtration system. First it checks multiple RBL databases and the SPF protocol to see if the sender is a known spammer or if the email is coming from an email server that is either a known spam server or a machine that is not properly secured to prevent spam. Then it processes incoming messages through the powerful Spam Assassin system. As a third step suspicious messages can be challenged by the Friends system giving senders an opportunity to prove their message is not spam. Using a combination of these systems allows a user to actually stop almost 100% of spam without false positives.

How does the virus protection work?
BizMailsecure uses a powerful server-based system provided by Avasti. This system is certified by ICSA, the same certification authority that approves systems for MacAfee, Norton and a few other major players. Only trust ICSA Certified virus scan systems. As the system is installed on our email servers users don’t have to worry with administration or updates.

What if I use PGP or S/MIME for email encryption?
BizMailsecure supports and supplements PGP or S/MIME encryption. Even if you encrypt email messages with PGP or S/MIME, the message headers still remain open. "To:", "From:", "Subject:" etc. header fields may disclose your identity and contain confidential information. Using a BizMailsecure encrypted tunnel to transport these messages creates higher level of security. PGP encryption is supported directly within BizMailsecure classic WebMail interface.

Do you support push email to my mobile device?
BizMailsecure fully supports the IMAP IDLE push command for instant new mail notifications to your cell phone.

How do I manage my BizMailsecure/BizCrypt email account(s)?
Account administration control panel that lets you completely manage all of the user-level functions of your BizMailsecure account. For all plans which include multiple accounts, we provide a master secure email hosting control panel that lets you create, delete, define and manage user email accounts while allowing each individual user to manage all of their own user-level functions. If domain hosting is included in your plan, a domain admin panel is provided which allows user management, routing & filtering, reports, and other domain-level functions.

Do you keep usage logs?
Yes, we do record and maintain session logs.

Can you assist me in setting up my BizMailsecure account?
We can assist in all respects including configuring your web-portal, email program (Outlook, Windows Mail etc), setting up your domain account, etc. We can remotely access your computer and provide support if required and permission is granted to us. There is not extra charge for support.

Do you provide Technical Support?
We provide unmatched customer support:

How can I cancel my trial account or regular subscription?
You can log in to your Account Administration page and click "Cancel" button and proceed. Alternatively you can cancel BizMailsecure account by sending an email or calling us. Make sure to provide your admin email id and last 4 digits of credit card on file.

Where are the BizMailsecure servers located?
BizMailsecure servers are located in a secure data centre attached to our local office Hyderabad.
